Introduction

My name is Zsófia Gerber, and I have been involved in interior design for 20 years. Over this time, my methods have become refined, allowing me to see through the flashy yet functionless solutions of trendy, Pinterest- and Insta-compatible designs. I’ve learned to shape and fill empty spaces so that every aspect serves a single purpose: for those who want to live there to also love living there.

Harmony

I don’t work according to fancy trends. A space may look good in a picture, but if it’s unlivable in everyday life, it’s futile. Instead of perceived external expectations, I design the space to maximize functionality – and don’t think for a moment that this can only be done tediously and uniformly. The balance between form and content is the key to creating real harmony, which is the essence of interior design: after all, the interiors of a home or a house become extensions of the people living in them – and who doesn’t want to live in harmony with themselves?

Ergonomics

Ergonomics is the foundation of all my work. I transform uncomfortable, run-down, poorly functioning properties into homes where it’s great to live. I don’t just reshape the appearance of your home; I equip it with solutions that make your entire life easier. You won’t struggle with dust gathering in unreachable corners, with limescale in the bathroom, or with where to place the salad bowl while preparing the rest of lunch. With the right layout of the apartment, it will be easy to maintain order and cleanliness, cooking will be much more comfortable in a well-arranged kitchen, and relaxation will be more enjoyable in a well-designed bathroom.
